Snow

Well woke up to everything being in white. Went back to sleep and it was gone but mud and its snowing lightly. Too warm to stick around. I am enjoying it from inside of my home. I am not leaving til tomorrow. Oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a week. To say at the lease that my birthday was awesome is an understandment. It was an awesome low key birthday with people who I am closest to that live here. Thursday nite was great with my friends here. I already talked about that.
Friday morning I drove down to Phoenix to my honey. It was so good to see him. He gave me a beautiful necklace. Its a gold heart with a mistic fire topaz and a little diamond to the side. I am wearing and when I look at it, I just smile and beam. Its the 1st piece of jewelry he has given me. I treasure it big time.
We just spent the day together, had great intimate time to gether and then off to lunch/dinner. Ended up at the Macroni grill. I wanted Caraba's but they werent open til 4pm so went with the same theme. Ended back at his place and later wandered to the wunderin. There were 2 other people celebrating birthdays. One guy who's birthday was the same day and another on Sunday. So had a couple of tequila shots. It was nice. Just relaxing.
Sat we went and got the girls and they gave me a homemade card and some bath stuff. I thought it was very sweet and nice. It meant alot to me, expecially the card. We took them out to Ariba's for breakfast/lunch. Me breakfast them lunch. Then headed over to the movies. Went and saw Monsters vs Aliens. I wish we could have seen it in 3D but that show already started so we did without. It was really good animation. Enjoyed it.
AFter going to the grocery store we rented a couple of movies. Role model, too funny and Rock A Rolla by Guy Richey. Very good. If you like Snatched then you will love this one. His movies are good. Lots of characters and the story line, it keeps your attention. We cooked out on the grill and watched movies. Enjoyed thoroughly.
I have to mention that thru out the weekend JJ's work was calling about him driving a concrete pump, the hugh ones that he drives, to Austin from Phoenix. Originally they wanted him to leave Sat am then Monday. So our plans were changing because of this.
Since he was leaving on Monday am we didnt know if he would get back to go to see Reckless Kelly at the Rhythm Room in Phoenix on Tuesday nite.
Anyway we took the girls home and I decided to stay an extra day due to not being sure about coming down on Tuesday. It was a nice relaxing day. Went out for brunch and just hung out.
We both left early on Monday morning. Me to get to work at 7:30. Him to go on the road. I was 10 mins late due to not allowing enough time to get thru town. At that time it takes 10 to 15 mins to get to thru town. Sucked. So it took a little over 2 hours to back.
Well as things turned out JJ got to Austin early enough, actually Buhda, and they flew him back at 4:15 Texas time and 2:15 Arizona time. I got off work at 1 and got out of town by 2 and we were able to be at the Rhythm room when the doors opened at 6:30 so we could get tickets.
We had the best time. The bands were awesome. I think I have mentioned the Rhythm room before. Small and intimate place for a concert. A patio to the side of the building. I think it holds around 100ish. They sold out with in about an hour or so. The bands were awesome. The opening act was Micky and the Motorcars. Cute Cute lead singer. The 2nd band was Reckless Kelly. The lead singer cute cute cute. In fact they are brothers. And there are a couple other brothers in these 2 bands. They are out of Austin. AT one point there were 3 brothers on stage singing during one of the songs. It was so kool because I knew all of the songs this time of Reckless Kelly. I just love their music. And to say also that the beers went down way to smooth. We just rocked. Another good thing to mention, neither one of us had to get up on Wed. We were both off. So we partied like rock stars. Got pics with the band after wards and autographs. Like I said just so much fun.
Needless to say on Wed we felt rough but did okay. Went to Luke's and got some sandwiches and large drinks. By 1:30 I knew I had to leave. The traffic would start increasing the direction I was going and it would take so much longer to get out of town so on the road again.
JJ is now on the road taking a pump to Atlanta, Georgia. Just barely getting out of Arizona due to craziness from yesterday. He picked it up outside of Yuma. He is ready to get out of Az.
So today I am hanging out. Its snowing right now. I am going make some breakfast and start painting the guess room. I want to be done with that by tomorrow. Time is of the essence. Oh I joined the aquaplex. I am so glad I did. I have gone the last 2 days. Yesterday after the treadmill and bike I used the jacuzzi. OMG that is the bomb. I see people I know. Its a very pretty place. Very peaceful. I cancelled my jazz membership. This is defiately will be worth my money. Its on the way home and so its a convience.
Well off to having brunch now and getting it in gear!! Sorry so long. Its amazing how much happens in a week!
