Great Concert!

The Creed Concert was awesome! OMG right up there with Taking a tour of the Dallas Cowboy stadium and laying on the star! Love Love Love them. They still have it. The tickets I got was standing in an area gated off right in front of the stage. They had a walk way so Scott would walk out there and he was so close, I could see him sweating! I was in heaven.
We had a great time. At the end the band members were throwing guitar picks and drum sticks out into the audience and all of sudden Scott comes running down the walk way and throws out the set list to the concert and it comes my way, people tried grapping it and I caught it! It made the night absolutely awesome! What a great way to end it. JJ suggest I should frame it. So I am going to take my tickets and this set list and put it in a frame together slong with my pink band.
Just found out my friend from Dallas cant make it due to a death in her family. So instead of her coming here to play she is having to get to Lubbock from Dallas, get her mom and head to Houston! by this weekend. Sorry for her. She was so sad. She felt bad and was appologizing but I was like there is nothing to appologize for. She didnt plan on this. So I went ahead and cancelled my train ride thru Camp Verde. It would have been so fun. JJ said he would go with me but I decided I just spent some money this past week and need to get back to business. It wasnt meant to be.
This will give me 3 days to work on the house and get this show on the road.
I didnt want to leave PHoenix today. Its so hard everytime! He doesnt want me to leave. But I will just tell myself its temporary!

Great weekend

Had a great weekend. The picnic and the balloon release was nicely done. It was very hot. Lots of people which was quite sobering because these are family and parents of murdered children. Over 100 people there. It was the national day of rememberance. When everyone released their balloons it was very kool but made me tear up because you see all these black and red balloons representing all the people who died by being murdered. Terrible. One mom passed out and I had to play nurse and almost thought I was going to have to do cpr. She was a diabetic and took 2 nitro tabs because of chest pain and then it was hot. At 1st she was pale, diaphoretic (sweating), and couldnt feel a pulse and just when I thought we were going to have to do cpr she woke up and her pulse became stronger. Ambulance made it and took her to the hospital.
When all that was over we went back to the apartment and waited on JJ's friend to be done with his day. We all left and drove to Prescott and stayed at the Mile Hi Motel. Mind you nothing fancy but it had a kitchen, walk in closet, 2 beds and a couch. Bedroom was separate from living room. Looked like a little apartment. 2 blocks from the fun! We walked down to Wiskey row and went directly to The Sundance Bar. It was in the basement of this building. The band we went to go see see cancelled due to one of the band members having a seizure. It was empty and then all of a sudden it started getting packed. There were 2 bands who turned out to be good. We stayed there for the evening. OMG drank way to much. We all were feeling it the next day. Crazy Crazy!
So now I am home for the night. Got my painting done. Got all of the towel rings and toilet paper holder up except for the towel rod. Found a beautiful 20 piece comforter set to put on my bed. So Happy with what I got done. I am going to make the head board out of Mvf boards, The white stuff and material that matches a color in the comforter. It will look very cool!
Getting ready for bed. Have to get up and go get my hair done, come home and get ready to head back down to PHoenix for my concert, Creed with STaind opening for them. I am going to be on cloud 9 tomorrow for the concert. I have a few things to do on Wednesday am before I head back up. Lots to do when I get back!
Well off to get some sleep and get ready for another great day!

Whirlwind

This week has been a whirlwind. Its going to even crazier this next week. I am off for 5 days. Woohoo. Was so happy to walk out of work! We have been so busy. I am truely exhausted! Tired Tired Tired.
My friend who is a painter came over and finished the upper trim. Took 4 hours. took as long as my guess bathroom. Crazy!
I still havent eaten dinner. About to get into my jammies, get something to eat, relax. Need to figure out what I need to take with my me for my journey to phoenix and then onto Prescott to go to wiskey row for a concert and fun. JJ's brother and wife and girls are on their way to phoenix right now. I am getting up and getting on the road to phoenix by 7am to go pick up Sammy and then over to JJ's place. Shekei has band and its for a grade so she wont be there tomorrow. We are going to a picnic and balloon release for the parents of murdered children. It will be a very intense thing I am sure. I am so glad his one brother and family could be here. From there we will take all the girls over to the girls house for the night. Then the 4 of us and a friend of JJ's are heading to Prescott for a concert and stay over nite at a hotel called the mile hi hotel. lol. Its a block to a block and 1/2 to the downtown area where we are going. Wiskey Row is this famous street that has all these bars and resturants. JJ and I have gone and stayed down there before. But it will so fun this time also because their will be 5 of us just listening to music and partying. I am excited about this. Will have to take lots of pics. Our hotel will be with in walking distance. Sunday get up and they will head back down to Phoenix and I will head back up here.
Back to working on the house.
Tuesday I have a hair appt and then off to PHoenix for another concert but this time it is Creed. One of my favorite bands. Love Love Love the lead singer. I hate that he shaved his head because he has beautiful hair. But still the same 9th row on the floor. I am going to be in my glory. I decided he will be my husband or lover in my next life. I am so in lust with that boy. Damn. Stay in Phoenix Tuesday nite and back up to Flag after some last minute shopping for the house.
Crazy Crazy! And then there is more. My friend will be here on Friday evening for the weekend! Whirlwind!
My life will settle down here soon. I know it!

weekend

Biker reading your comment made me think about it and there were alot of fond memories hanging out with you guys. My fond memories were the ones with the two of you in them but not with the ex. I want to remember those but its hard since all he was about was drinking as much as he could and complaining after that wonderful dinner on the beach. I go back and think about several trips and how he would yell at me and or complain all the time. I only remember the good parts when the friends are a part of it. Sad but true. I truely do not have fond memories of him. I am trying but when I think of something there is something else attached that was bad. Amazing. I am happy for you guys. I have gotten rid of things to do with that trip and gave it to people that would truely enjoy it and have something fond to think about. I have nothing good to say about him. There is no love lost. When I think about that last time I was in the parking lot getting gas and he was right next to me and he acted like I was not there. Screw him. I am so looking forward to the day I will never ever run into him. Good bye to bad trash!
So anyways, I decided at the last minute to leave town and go see my honey who was packing to come up here and I told him I am coming down. I need a breakf rom it all.
We are invited to the girls brother's birthday party. Their mom texted me and invited me. I also need to take the expensive shower/tub kit back to lowes.
Tomorrow is football and cant wait to see my Cowboys play. I am off Monday so when I wake up on Monday am I will get back up here and get back to work.
I did as tired as I was remove all the tint from the windows. Let me tell you if it doesnt come off in one piece and leaves some behind dont just use a small razor to remove. My thumbs are killing me right now. So will look for a handle that holds the razor to make it easy. But now all my rooms in the house are so bright. I love it. I truely think in 2 to 3 weeks I will be interviewing realtors and having my house professionally cleaned. Wow its coming down to the wire and I am excited about this.
Now eventually leaving the people I have come to know here and have grown so fond of will be another story. I cried on my way home from bunco the other nite because these people were telling me how much they are going to miss me and all of them told me I could stay with any of them any time. It was very touching and sweet.
Well off to get dress and pack a bag and get on the road. Its starting to rain.

its amazing

Its amazing how you can be in one state of mind and then you read something and it just brings you to a wierd place and makes you think how aweful things really were even at that time. Amazing. Well enough of that shit!

Made more progress today. Dido came over and we hung pictures and mirrors, rearranged furniture to start staging. It shows me what I need to do now in cleaning up and putting in boxes and organizing more. But what a difference rearranging my furniture did to my livingroom. It looks HUGH!!!
I also decided how to handle the showers to make it cheaper for one thing and buy less. Talk to the plumber but it came to me as I was sitting there and realized this turned out to be alot more difficult to deal with then originally thought because the plumbing in the wall is over 10 years old and I have to have converters for the shower knobs. crazy. The way they change things. Not putting holes in the wall. I refuse. So crome it will be in both bathrooms and oh well. The next person can go thru all that if they want!
Anyway about to go to bed soon. Tired. Got to finally talk to my cousin tonight and boy he brought back memories of my childhood and how aweful it really was. And how everyone felt so bad for me but nothing could be done. Everyone knew why I left home and knew not a moment faster and how I am so much better off. But now we are going to keep in touch. I am glad because I love him alot growing up.

Productive day

What a productive day. My friend came over and he help me put the light fixtures on the house and showed me how so I did the one on the porch. Found out also that they will come on when it gets dark. Nice. That is what I want.
I started using this stain to go around all the door frames and have started on the window frames. Looks so much better.
My friend's tenant came over and started the trim outside. He did all the power washing yesterday. Looks 100% better already!
The plumber came over and looked at my showers and tubs and will get back with me in a day or so to let me know what he found out about the trim on the guess bathroom shower/tub. I bought bronze but the problem is the knobs dont match. He is going to see if he can find a bronze knob that pulls out and not turns. Otherwise he will have to go thru the wall. Not going to happen. So my solution and its going to be cheapest and easiest is to put the nickel in both bathrooms. It will match in my bathroom but not in the front. Oh well. Who ever buys my house will have to get over it. So there you go on that end.
So now I am back to working on the wood trim with the stain. This will all be worth it! It will all be worth it!

Another good day!

For a Monday it turned out well. Busy crazy at work. From the time I got back from lunch til the moment I walked out the door. I was truely tired.
I got in touch with the plumber. He will be here at 7 7:30am. Kool. The power wash of my home was done. Woohoo! I could see a little in the dark with my outside lights on and it looked great! I went to Home Depot and took the paint I had in the garage from 2001 when the addition was added and it was still good. I only had to buy 1 more gal so far and of course a good brush! $20.00 for the paint and $15.00 for the brush. Apparently the girl said these brushes will last a life time. My mom agreed and said also you have to buy a good brush.
Tomorrow my fix it guy is coming over with my friend to show him how to change out my light fixtures and start painting.
As for me I will be painting and doing touch up painting interior. I looked up Merry Maids online and there is one here. Awesome.
I also got a surprise text from a friend of mine and she wants to come from Dallas. Oh Sheila. I am excited about her visiting. I changed my schedule around so I could be off 3 of the days she is here. So that truely was a great surprise. She will get to see the after of the house. She came shortly after I moved in and bought my car, my 1st brand new cougar when they were different and beautiful looking, before the compact shit. So she will know the before and after.
Well the day is coming to an end. I am a tired pup. Ready for a busy, accomplishing day!!! Cant wait!!!

Great weekend!

The weekend turned out great except for Jason not coming up. He got called at 3am and worked all day. I was dissappointed but at the same time the weekend went well! Worked just alittle! The party was so much fun. There was so many different beers to try that people brought. Home brews and others. So much great food! And lots of people. Had a blast. Its so funny you think everyone gets drunk at this beer and wine tasting party but between all the food and the small cups nobody ever does.
Today my friends came over, I cooked them breakfast and he replaced all the faucets. Still need the shower heads and faucets replaced but I found out I have a neighbor is a plumer. So there you go. The faucets look so gorgeous. OMG what a difference. I never thought I would say faucets are beautiful but who ever buys my house are getting beautiful faucets and ceiling fans. My friends tennent who is young and wants to work, out of work is coming over with my friend and for $200.00 he is replacing my outside lights, power washing the outside and going to start painting the trim and fasia, whatever you call it. So now that I dont have to worry about the outside I can finish up the inside. I am telling you I truely believe I am going to get this house on the market by the end of the month.
I am off on Tuesday so I am going to do touch up painting in my room and bathroom, paint the wall over the vanity and touch up the paint in the rest of the house.
I did cry today when the faucets were in place. This was such a huge undertaking.
The stainless steel faucet in the kichen makes the biggest difference. I cant believe it. Its so clean looking. I had this white one that was so gross. discusting. The guess bathroom has bronze. It is truely the final touch of matching the light fixtures and the towel holders. In the bathroom is a brushed nichel and it matches the light fixtures I bought back in tx years ago. I just have to replace the towel and toilet paper holder to match and that will be done. The updates make all the difference in the world of how nice my house looks!
My cowboys won today. Big time. I was so happy! Beat Tampa Bay big time.
Tomorrow I have to call the plumber before I go to work at 10 and see when he can come to finish up the bathrooms.
So its all coming together. Its meant to be! Well off to watch HGTV design star and see who wins. Hope its Antonio, guy with the tattoos! Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Excited

I am excited. My friends are coming over early tomorrow to do my plumbing and I am going to make them breakfast. Jason is coming up later to go with me to Dido's party tonight. He doesnt have to go back til Monday. So I am looking forward to my weekend. And there is Cowboy Football. Woohoo!

week

This week has been a world wind. Went to Phoenix had a lovely time. Just enjoyed being bumms. Watched Shekei's high school football game. Kinda of boring due to the score of 57 to 0, her team. Fun to watch her do the flag though.
Got to enjoy our favorite bar, went out to eat, shopped for my house, rented movies and took naps. We had a really good talk about us and our future. We also joked that on our criteria for renting a house we need a sports bar near by, lol, so we can walk!
I go to leave on Tuesday morning from his apartment and started crying. I was so sad our time was over. Came back up the hill and walked into a cluster at work and it never stopped all day. Tuesday absolutely sucked the big weenie. No doubt.
The rest of the week went better but yesterday the guy was suppose to come and put the new faucets in. Spoke with him when I left work and he said I will be there. Well I had already given him my address and my house # due to the fact that my cell phone doesnt work at my house. What does he do, calls me on my cell phone and leaves a message that he cant find my house, to call him. I decided after waiting awhile I check my cell phone and get a weak signal but see he called and called him back. He was heading back into town. He forgot my address and my house #. I was so dissappointed and sad. I am so ready to get this done. YOu know. So he is coming over on Sunday. If he comes up with another excuse, screw him and I will hire someone else to do the job. A girl at work has a plumber that she recommends so there you go. I will use him. If it costs me alittle more, so be it.
I finally got all the clothes gone thru that have been sitting forever. I wont be able to work on the house til Sun after Dallas plays but back at it strong.
Dido is having her 9th annual beer and wine Soure. I dont know how to spell it. I have a 6th pack of Vietnese beer I found in Cali last year so it will be interesting to see how it tastes. The party will be alot of fun. Lots of people and lots of food and different home brews and things to try. I am excited to enjoy. I have to bring a change of clothes and my make up because I am working 10am to 6pm for extra money. time and 1/2 baby.
So that is my life in a nutshell!
Today I have been at my job 9 years and its been 8 years since that aweful day. May god be all!

tipper

My poor pup Tipper. Well she is 10 years old actually but I took her and sam to the vets and she has a temp and her gums were red. Lately she wont eat as much and she has lost weight. Became very worried. The vet put her on antibiotics for the next 10 days. I bought her individual dinners that she will eat, soft on teeth. I am hoping she will feel better soon.
Sam is fine! Just such a funny dog. He gets up on his hind legs when we walk in there to see whats going on behind the counter and then in the room with the vet he does the same thing to see the vet. He made everyone laugh. He is a funny dog. Thats why I kept him, he makes me laugh but at the same time he can be frustrating. I have to keep the child proof lock on the fridge to keep him out. Crazy Crazy!
The plumber didnt make it today. Next week! Thats fine.
